I'm way too busy enjoying other people's blogs to update my own! :)
Yesterday, I was sitting in the balcony of our church and a horrific thought came to mind. What if, in a moments notice, the walls and ceiling came tumbling down upon our congregation? Crushed and pinned, I couldn't check on my little boy in the nursery next door. Oh the agony! Oh what heartache the people of Haiti have been going through! I know that our God is good and He is the creator and sustainer of all things. It is still hard to understand why He allows such things to happen sometime. His ways are higher than our ways and I pray for His healing and peace on the people of that nation!
I am looking forward to 2010. In February, Todd will finish a couple of the custom homes he has been diligently building with Koenig Construction. In April, I turn the BIG 3o and have the privilege of welcoming a baby daughter into the world. We will celebrate 4 years of marriage in July and Matthew will turn 2 in August! I don't know the details of what the future holds, but I pray that God helps me to seek His face and trust in the plans He has for us.
Matthew is such a little man! Here are just a few snippets from the last several months....
