MARCH! Goodness, I've been lazy with our blog... I am so excited that Spring is just around the corner. Weather forecasters said we were going to get snow in Charleston this week -- Burrrrrrh! I have yet to see any snow flurries though. The last time I "blogged" was upon finding out that sweet Magdalena Roberts went home to be with Jesus. My heart a-c-h-e-d when I learned that He called her home, but I know that her short life made a tremendous impact to all who knew of her.

Early in February Todd's dad was ordained as an elder in the Episcopal church in Albany, GA. It was so good to be with the family to celebrate the occasion. Todd's sister, Stephany, wrote a beautiful description of the service in her blog.

Matthew had another ultrasound for his kidneys and they seem to be growing just fine. He still has renal hydrophrenosis, but the Urologist said on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst), his is barely a ONE. Thank you God. We will do a follow-up check-up when he turns a year old.

My mom and dad were off for President's Day, so Matthew and I took a trip to Augusta. We were able to stay for a surprise retirement party for my dad. It was great, he had no idea my mom, Matthew and I were going to be there. I love that my dad is not afraid to shed a tear :)

Todd has been working on our laundry room. Our house was built in the 50's and the laundry area was in the garage. It will be soooooo nice to stay warm or cool when doing the laundry that "never seems to end." I've been trying to work on our yard...pruning, pulling weeds, composting, and researching plants, etc. We are enjoying putting sweat equity and our personal touch on 1314 Gilmore Rd.!

My attempt to create a cupid to symbolize turning 6 months in Feb. Much more difficult these days... everything gets "tasted" and "grabbed".
Great Grandparents (Christian)
"Papa" made sure every inch of me was clean at bath time!
"Grammie" gave me bath toys to play with...Small surprise gathering to celebrate Dad's retirement!
They gave him a framed picture of him performing heart surgery...
So BIG...I can hold my own bottle now!
GOING...
GOING...GONE....ahhh!
1314 Gilmore Rd. still needs tender love and careA laundry room in progress!
Amazed my man knows how to do this!
Our baby boy can sit up all by himself...
My grandmother made these blocks for my brother and I to play with. I wish he could have met her....
Sadie makes him smile... and she likes the soft carpet :)
